The story of Go Jetter

In 1979, three young musicians from southern Ontario formed a band called Go Jetter and recorded a collection of songs on a simple reel-to-reel tape recorder. One year later, the band broke up. The tapes were shelved, and life went on.

Except that in 1983, life ended for one member at the age of 25.

The two surviving members kept the music in their hearts. Then in 2024, new audio technology helped them bring the music back to life. They recovered their late bandmate’s performances and merged them with their own new performances, creating an album that reunites the band across time.

From the Word Go is both vintage and current, raw and carefully rebuilt.

From the Word Go

Recorded in 1979 and lovingly rebuilt 45 years later, From the Word Go brings Go Jetter’s lost tracks to life using original performances, modern tools, and new recordings. It’s a tribute, a time capsule, and a long-overdue debut album that hums with memory and heart.
